The Hitachiin Princes
So here's what has become the newest love of my life... AMVs. I blame not having my computer for an entire quarter. What it meant was that the only way for me to listen to new music at work (as big as my iPod is, I quickly became tired of the same songs as every 2 weeks) as to find videos on YouTube. This in turn helped me discover the joy that is Ouran High School Host Club. Now, I present to you my 2nd AMV (see story below in the Summary).

I was inspired by Krys Yuy's video "So In Love With Two" :: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY438ruQV3M :: so I decided to make this AMV response.
SUMMARY (From YouTube):
This is my first AMV using iMovie and my second AMV ever. As it turned out, this song required significantly less time to fine-tune (due to the length of the song) than my first AMV, so #2 ends up getting uploaded before #1. ^^;
I sincerely apologize for the subtitles, but I let's just say that I spent hours trying to get the subless videos to run on my laptop and, obviously, I never did get it to work.
And so, without further ado...

The Story:
In the beginning, the Twins have discovered they both have a crush on Haruhi. Instead of arguing about it, they agree to share (*) and make a plan. Haruhi walks in on a "business transaction" between the Twins and Kyouya. Reflecting on the past year, the twins set out to convince Haruhi of their sincerity and that, even if it isn't until they've become "men", they think they can be good Princes too. After all, she could wind up with a "frog" or a "dog" instead, so why not be with guys who like her as she is? (Unlike Tamaki, who would rather her be more feminine, the twins just like to dress her up.)
In the end, they run off to find Haruhi and run into Kyouya on the way - apparently the deal was that he could continue selling copies of the Hitachiin Perfect Collection (now with a full-page Freshmen Trio insert!). Tamaki eventually finds out (of course it's at the end) and is furious at Kyouya, but the Twins' plan is starting to work it's magic. :-D The twins are pushing their luck at the very end, though, because apparently it wasn' enough magic for to agree to let them come over to her house. ^^;
(*) I'm not saying this is common in all cultures, but it works for the purposes of this AMV; it isn't unusual for two brothers (especially twins) to share one woman - it's called Fraternal Polyandry. (Yay for Cultural Anthropology!)

Holy cow, apparently I really can make AMVs! O.o Who'd-a' thunk it? I've only been wishing I had the ability to do so for about ... 8 years now, geez. The only bummer is the utterly terrible job that YouTube did at rendering the quality of my video._;
